Featherstone Township is a township in Goodhue County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 785 at the 2000 census.
History
Featherstone Township was organized in 1858, and named for William Featherstone, an early settler.[3]
Notable person
Lyle Mehrkens (1937-2018), Minnesota state legislator and farmer, was born in Featherstone Township.[4]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.9 square miles (93 km2), all land.

There were 274 households, out of which 36.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 82.1% were married couples living together, 1.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 12.0% were non-families. 9.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. In the township the population was spread out, with 24.8% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 29.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females, there were 106.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.7 males.
