HD 178233 is a single

light years based on parallax measurements, but it is drifting closer to the Sun with a radial velocity of approximately −24 km/s.[5]

The

projected rotational velocity of 165.0 km/s, which is giving the star an equatorial bulge that is ~24% wider than the polar radius.[10] The star has 1.5[6] times the mass and 1.8[1] times the mean radius of the Sun. It is radiating over eight times the luminosity of the Sun from its photosphere at an effective temperature of 7,220 K.[1]
