Hutsonville Township is one of ten townships in Crawford County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 994 and it contained 486 housing units.[2]

Geography

According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Hutsonville Township has a total area of 37.57 square miles (97.31 km2), of which 36.87 square miles (95.49 km2) (or 98.13%) is land and 0.70 square miles (1.81 km2) (or 1.87%) is water.[3] The Wabash River defines its eastern border.

The average household size was 1.99 and the average family size was 2.59.

The township's age distribution consisted of 13.4% under the age of 18, 9.7% from 18 to 24, 19.5% from 25 to 44, 39.6% from 45 to 64, and 17.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 51.5 years. For every 100 females, there were 99.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 112.9 males.
