The company is supervised under Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commission Malaysia.[1] The company started offering conventional discretionary trading services since 2016.[2][3][4] In July 2022, Bursa Malaysia onboarded the company as the first Islamic participating organisation to offer sharia trading services.[2][3]

History

The company was founded in 1963.[1]

In 2010, the company penalised its authorised trader for faking trades through NCBO.[5]

On 26 September 2012, an outlet at Penang was set up.[6]

As at 15 July 2021, the company had more than 250,000 clients.[7]

Digitalisation

In 2010, the company launched its online platform.[8]

In 2012, the company transitioned into the digital market with M+ Online platform. In 2020, the platform continued to be developed with collaboration from Alibaba Cloud.[9][10]

On 24 May 2023, the company introduced M+ Global as a platform accessible to trades at the United States and Hong Kong.[11][12][13][14][15] The platform already had around 10,000 users registered at the time, since it was launched a month earlier. The platform offers access to stocks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.[16] It is the first platform in Malaysia to work with Nasdaq to provide real-time data.[11][17] The platform has sharia trading.[11]

Culture
