Ebrahimi was arrested by the

Evin prison.[6][7][8] At the same time, his restaurant in Tehran closed[9] and his Instagram account became unavailable.[10][11][12]

The term "Cutlet" gained specific notoriety iin Iran following the killing of Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who died in a drone strike near Baghdad airport on January 3, 2020. Following his death, opponents of the Iranian regime on social media adopted the term "Cutlet" to refer to the incident, with some even marking the anniversary of his death as "Cutlet Day."[13][14][15]

Ebrahimi was released from prison on January 16, 2023 on bail.[16][17][18]
