Olney F. Flynn was an American politician who served as the 22nd

Mayor of Tulsa
between 1944 and 1946.

Biography

Olney F. Flynn was the son of

Mayor of Tulsa from 1944 to 1946. He is considered Tulsa's "wartime mayor" for World War II and multiple former and future mayors worked in his administration such as Dan W. Patton, Lee Price, and George H. Stoner.[2] He was also considered a "anti-New Dealer."[3] He was the Republican nominee in the 1946 Oklahoma gubernatorial election. He died on November 2, 1970.[1]
