Otto Tange (22 September 1915 – 30 July 1943) was a

ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. Tange claimed 68 aerial victories, 3 over the Western Front and 65 over the Eastern Front
. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.

Career

Otto Tange was a member of the Luftwaffe at the beginning of the war and participated in the

anti-aircraft
fire on 30 July 1943. At the time of his death, his total was 68 victories.
