Geography

Patterson Township is located in north-central Beaver County at 40°44′48″N 80°19′56″W / 40.74667°N 80.33222°W / 40.74667; -80.33222 (40.746765, -80.332348).[3]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 1.64 square miles (4.25 km2), of which 0.006 square miles (0.015 km2), or 0.35%, is water.[4]

In the township the population was spread out, with 22.1% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 25.7% from 25 to 44, 23.4% from 45 to 64, and 23.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females, there were 87.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.8 males.
