Pleasant Grove Township is one of twelve townships in Coles County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,227 and it contained 584 housing units.[1]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 41.65 square miles (107.9 km2), of which 41.64 square miles (107.8 km2) (or 99.98%) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) (or 0.02%) is water.[2]

The average household size was 2.12 and the average family size was 2.57.

The township's age distribution consisted of 13.8% under the age of 18, 8.9% from 18 to 24, 19.9% from 25 to 44, 38.3% from 45 to 64, and 19.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 51.9 years. For every 100 females, there were 86.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.4 males.
