The Quiriquina Formation is a geological

formation in Chile whose strata date back to the Late Cretaceous. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.[1] The glauconitic sandstones and conglomerates of the formation were deposited in a marine environment.[2]
