    In the 2005 parliamentary election Grupiński was elected member of the Sejm for the Sejm Constituency no. 36 (Kalisz) as the Civic Platform candidate.[1][2] He was reelected in 2007.[3] Since the 2011 parliamentary election he represented a neighboring Sejm Constituency no. 39 (Poznań),[4] where he also was reelected in 2015 and 2019.[5][6]
