Saravan (

Romanized as Sarāvān, Sarawān, and Seravan,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Saravan Rural District of Sangar District, Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 5,740 in 1,511 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 6,073 people in 1,837 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,542 people in 1,837 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
