Howmeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان حومه)[3] is in the Central District of Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Khana Chah.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 20,703 in 5,832 households.[6] There were 20,664 inhabitants in 6,506 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 20,449 in 6,788 households. The most populous of its 26 villages was Pir Kola Chah, with 2,437 people.[2]
