Sify.com wrote "Lekhan's brainless narrative fails to bring even decent performance from talented artists like Sri Murali, Thualsi Shivamani and Sharan. Shirin is wasted. However Murali shines in a few action sequences. It is better to avoid 'Sihi Gaali' ".[6]
