Map

User:MilosHaran deleted the current map with the simple comment: "Not accurate map." The problem is that there is no accurate map of the Kingdom of Kush, and the map the article had was within the space that even the National Geographic defined it: "Kush was a part of Nubia, loosely described as the region between the Cataracts of the Nile." So, I brought the map back since it shows the region clearly enough. I am open to other interpretations. Caballero/Historiador 23:15, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with @milosHaran that a map of Africa with a heading 1000 BCE to xxxx should not show Egypt as a part of PersiaEditorfromMars (talk) 22:10, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

kushite religion

To Vif12vf, meroitic polythiesm is a synchronization of earlier kerman influences and later egyptian influneces, the dieties like apadamak (and a few others) are of nubian origin not egyptian origin so blanket statements like it all belongs into "ancient egyptian religion is careless and inaccurate. Reference to "Noba Invasions"

Hi editors There seems to be a mistake in the reference to the end of Meroe. The introductory wording seem to blame a group called the "Noba" as the main instigators of events that eventually led to the destruction of Meroe . Other than a single source written by Mr Riley (who I should point out is a linguist and not an archaeologist) there is no other source that agree with that claim. Historical source and archaeological evidence contradicts this. Also note that even in the cited paper by Mr Riley, it is clear that he was proposing a theory and not a fact. What is known of that period at the end of the 4th century CE is that Ezana, King of Aksum, brought the centralized government in Meroe to an end , however Meroitic culture evolved into what is currently referred to as the Nubian culture. Further more , the introductory body of the article contradicts what is written in the section concerning the end of Kush (Section Roman Period). "Noba" is not an ethnic term and extrapolating the genesis of the modern term Nubian and tying it with the "Noba" is nothing more than speculation. The speaker of the Nubian languages have been present since before the time of Meroe according to Meroitic and Egyptian texts with a different endonym. Nubian culture is the only link we have in the Sudan to the ancient civilizations of the Middle Nile valley, this is established fact . There can be no room for revisionists to rewrite history according to their whims and biases. Finally , dear editors , the Nubians of the Sudan and Egypt are under the pressure of Nationalist Egyptians and revisionist Sudanese who have a political agenda against the indigenous population of the Nile valley. Please do not allow them to use this platform to further their anti Nubian propaganda. We have all the academic data ( not obscure online reference) required on demand that supports the data provided. Kryako (talk) 13:37, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Kryako I can guarantee the the biases aren't there the Noba threating the axumite borders was as already there mentioned by the axumites further more I we have kushite sources (meroitic sources) that the Nubians were a distinct population. Jedorton (talk) 17:21, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Jedorton Your guarantees do not change the facts. The proven archeological fact is that the modern nubian, and no one else in the Nile Valley, are the only direct descendants of the ancient population since before Kerma.
I do not think you, or anybody, understands Merotic to make such a claim. The descendant of immigrant Arab population should not think they can revise history to plicate their insecurities about their made up ancestory. 88.85.240.34 (talk) 10:56, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@88.85.240.34 Oh my you sound butthurt and in tears like you broke down crying while typing this post up, the irony of "kry" in your original username lol , all of this over a section I only barely contributed to, seriously you're a pathetic excuse for an adult (if you are one). It's clear to see who has the agenda, rather then actually prove any legitimate point relating to the section/entry , you resort in ad hominem personal attacks & your own delusional unfounded accusations about Arabs & revisionism , no one cares about your people or has any sort of political agenda against them revealing it's you with the agenda , You can cry all you want it won't change the facts that multiple (ancient & modern) sources and historians like Cooper agree with Riley. You seem so personally upset with me and history like I was the only one to contribute/to that section , BTW quit acting like you know what my ethnic background is which you got utterly wrong lol & with your Anti Arab racism & tribalism in full display It's very clear to see who has the agenda here , anymore throwing false accusations ad hominems & Anti Arab racism (which shouldn't stop an editor from contributing historical evidence regardless of their ethnic background) & you will get reported for disruptive editing. Jedorton (talk) 23:37, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Kindly revise your rant, your grasp of the English language appears weak and I am unable to understand this incoherent rambling. However, I excuse you of course since Arabic is your first language , a language you inherited from your ancestors who came to the Sudan as refugees or at least Arabized your people to the extent that you know nothing of your original culture.
I am a Nubiologist. I am not an amateur like you. Archeology is what I do. I will not be taught about Nubian history from an uneducated person . If you read the simplest book on Nubian history ( and not Facebook posts ) you will not be making the stupid mistakes and assumptions your are making now. Your summation of Nubian history is laughable , you are not even worth a reply when it comes to that. The thought that little ignorant children like you are allowed to edit Wikipedia is astounding.
It appears that you seem to care very much about our history, so much so that you are obsessively trying to edit Nubian history pages. I wonder why an Arab like yourself is dedicated to forging history? or is forgery a tradition amongst you Arabs of the Sudan? ( you did forge your pedigrees ) You came to my edit in the talk page , i do not worry myself with speaking to uneducated little children
When it comes to historians you clearly seem like you are way in over your head , stick to your native Bedouin culture, the history of the Nile valley is exclusive to the Nubians and no one other than them. Cope with that.
My duty in life is to regulate little impudent plagiarizers like you, we have had enough of the descendants of Arabs attempting to steal our history only for the reason that you are insecure; no one else in this world believes in the claims your people make to Arabic pedigrees.
Leave our history and our people alone !!! Kryako (talk) 09:07, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Kryako Wow so now you sound like a crazy psychotic ex, you're clearly still in tears "kry" and to dedicate a chapter to me, all of that feminine energy coming from your post I got you so upset and tears you had to type up a chapter about me face it I own Real estate in your mind not only are you not an Adult but you're not a man either Damn i have you obsessed with me it seems I'm every bit worth the reply as you keep replying to me. and it's not just your history, the kingdom of Kush spoke meroitic modern Nubian speakers have nothing to do with the kingdom of Kush, let's just say I'm a Sudanese arab as you claim I am you have just as much to with them as I would being that Nubian speakers arrived in the nile valley more than 2000 years ago with the ballana archeological culture and the 2 groups (nubians & Kushites) went to war as the Kushites depicted a Nubian chief/king being hogtied, modern Nubian speakers have little to do with ancient kingdom of Kush culturally, modern Nubian speakers are migrants from darfur get over it.And you're just as much a nubiologist as I am a UFC champ lol P.S Your tears are delicious "kry" lol Jedorton (talk) 14:53, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Guys like Riley and cooper are real Nubiologist Jedorton (talk) 15:17, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
my edits aren't mine but come from real Nubiologist unlike yourself Jedorton (talk) 15:20, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Strange, your ancestors came not 500 years ago to the Sudan yet you claim , without knowledge or scholarship, that the Nubians are the immigrants??? "Guys like Riley and cooper are real Nubiologist" Ha ! What a clown you are ?
Your rambling incoherent rant just shows the truth of what I was saying in the first place. there is a concerted effort by some hateful Sudanese Arabs to revise history, attempting to establish them as the original inhabitants of Nubia ?! which is so laughable that no esteemed archeologist would ever argue !
"the kingdom of Kush spoke meroitic modern Nubian speakers have nothing to do with the kingdom of Kush" We are supposed to take this information from an unknown ignoramus like you and leave the works of reputable scholars in Nubiology ?? Your ignorance is clearly a symptom of your identity crises.
It is clear that you are an uneducated petulant child that was not been raised properly, these are symptoms of a culture in the Sudan that you come from , poor and uncivilized.
You can blurt out all the anti-Nubian hate in your heart. The fact remains that we don't need any effort to prove our indigenous status , while you bend over backwards to prove that you are something you will never be , an original constituent of Sudan. Deal with it !! Kryako (talk) 09:40, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can we please take a step back before this leads to both of you being blocked indefinitely for
personal attacks
?
I am glad you came to the page talk and did not engage in

Can the two of you, state your claim(s) using reliable sources and leave it at that.

I don't see a reason for being reprimanded at all. I was harrowed by this racist anti Nubian for correcting historical fallacies relating to the history of Nubia. I also pointed out to the reader, that there happens to be virulent anti African , anti black revisionists amongst the Arabs of the Sudan. A form of cultural and historical appropriation. Jederton is one of these racists. I made my statements , but their racism did not allow them to learn , rather they decided to throw the vexation of losing their current war in Sudan to their Arab cousin, by attacking our history. The hate in this persons heart is unreal and is the problem of the Sudan today.
