Very minor copy changes. One item ("thousands" of workers being laid off by ENFE) isn't justified in existing sources, but presumably there is better sourcing. Take a fresh look; it has, after all, been six months. Ping me when done. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 01:35, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sammi Brie: Alright, I think I've tackled everything. Thanks again for another review! Krisgabwoosh (talk) 02:04, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know? If you fancy doing so, I always have plenty of GA nominees to review. Just look for the all-uppercase titles in the Television section. Reviews always appreciated.

    Copy changes

    • The area known for its coca cultivation: Callisaya's father, Eulogio Callisaya, was a cocalero who made a living as a carrier; he made regular trips through the treacherous Yungas trail route – better known as "Death Road" – to make cargo deliveries. perhaps The area is known for its coca cultivation: Callisaya's father, Eulogio Callisaya, was a cocalero who made a living as a carrier. He made regular trips through the treacherous Yungas trail route – better known as "Death Road" – to make cargo deliveries.
    • Split sentence into two and shortened "Eulogio Callisaya" to just "Eulogio". Krisgabwoosh (talk) 02:04, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • Already before his time as a union leader, he had received overtures to join the Revolutionary Left Movement – but talks never panned out. Change endash to comma
    • As did his candidacy for the La Paz Municipal Council in 2004 – the MAS won three councillors; Callisaya was fourth on the list.
    • Assuming you also wanted the en dashes removed here. If so,  Done. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 02:04, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Krisgabwoosh I meant to indicate the sentence was incomplete. The dash was fine. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 02:09, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • The MAS offered union leaders privileged positions on its electoral lists and the unions, in turn, mobilized even this footnote needs a
      WP:CINS
      comma after "lists"
    •  Done. Interesting writeup, btw, I can see myself looking back to it while writing future articles. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 02:04, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I wrote this very specifically because of GAN. Almost all of the examples are ripped from GAs I was reviewing. I see this so, so often. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 02:09, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    Sourcing and spot checks

    • 7: This is actually in another bio, but it's good fodder for the footnote. Como muchos parlamentarios, hizo sus primeras armas en la dirección estudiantil, un espacio propicio para el desarrollo de habilidades políticas (participación en debates, preparación de asambleas, organización de coaliciones, etc.). checkY
    • 10: Vargas/Villavicencio notes "hundreds" of workers were "relocalized" after the privatization of the company. The other source probably justifies "gutted" with the major cuts. But "thousands" is not justified.
    • Switched "thousands" for "hundreds". I was iffy if "gutted" might be too pointed, but a re-read of the article called it a "premeditated destruction", and since you're fine with it, I'll keep it. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 02:04, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • 15: A bunch of sources. Details are scattered but all come back clean. checkY
    • 20: Fides story comes back clean. checkY
    • 21: Callisaya dijo a EL DEBER que conoció a Chafic el año pasado a través de Pamuri, y que su colega lo introdujo precisamente a través de ese cargo. ... The La Estrella del Oriente story mentions the Lebanese language fluency. checkY
