==Career==

Originally from [[Dhaka]], Majid's parents migrated to [[Bradford]] where he grew up. He is a graduate of the [[Northern Film School]] in [[Leeds]]. Along with Richard York, Majid runs a documentary production house called [[The Rainbow Collective]]. The Rainbow Collective is a production company based in Leeds & London, they specialize in creating productions which highlight and deal with children/human rights issues. Their films include ''"Into The Unknown"'', ''"Skinny"'', ''"AmaZulu:The Children Of Heaven"'', ''"Bafana"'', ''"Not A Muslim In Sight"'' and ''"Homeless"''.<ref>http://www.rainbowcollective.co.uk/Filmography.htm The Rainbow Collective Filmography</ref>
