Career

Garg has served in various key positions for both the

Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and as a Director in the Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance in the Union Government.[2][3][4][5][6]

Garg also served as an Executive Director in the World Bank.[2][3][4][5][6]

In addition, Garg had a stint with the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, on deputation, as a Principal Consultant, under Rule 6(2)(ii) of The Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954.[2][3][7]
