"was a Romanian Roman Catholic prelate"

I'm sorry, is this a bad joke?! By all account he was Hungarian. Born as Hungarian in Hungary, also ethnically Hungarian. Any explanation as to why Wikipedia misappropriates him right in the first line of article about him? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.182.40.89 (talk) 21:52, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Archbishop?

There is no evidence he was ever made archbishop "ad personam". The link given in footnote 1 is dead, and the site quoted there does not state he was elevated to the rank of an archbishop, neither in its English nor in its Hungarian version. All official documents of the Roman Church refer to him as bishop, e.g. his death notice in the Annuario Pontifico 1981. In the Acta Apostolicae Sedis for 1949 and for 1950, no such decision is mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.226.245.98 (talk) 14:28, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
