After viewing BOTH the unrated AND theatrical versions on DVD Neither Fall Out Boy NOR Rise Against have any music in the film. Furthermore, they are not mentioned or credited in the credits. Can we get someone to clean up the plot section? The grammar is horrific and incredibly hard to read. I would do it myself but have not yet seen the film. I went ahead and undid the revision, going back to the much more concise plot summary that was on the page previously. At the beginning there was a reference to Helsinki in the dialog between the two cops. I didn't catch what that was, it went by really fast and I didn't bother to "rewind". However - coincidence? - after that, when he pushes the boat into the road the name on the boat is Satu. I just chopped a ton of unnecessary stuff out of the plot summary, but this section is still far too long - three times as long as WikiProject Film guidelines say it should be, in fact. If anyone has good ideas for how it can be summarized better, please take a crack at it, as it would be nice if we could remove that tag at the top of the article. The aforementioned guidelines say the plot summary should be between 400 and 700 words. That might be a bit low given how detailed the plot for "12 Rounds" is, but we should be able to get it at least reasonably close to 700 words.--Martin IIIa (talk) 00:10, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I was able to shave off another 140 words, mainly by eliminating the stuff about Samuel, which, while interesting, isn't relevant to the core plot. We're still at over twice the recommended max, though, so hopefully someone else can spot a few more unnecessary bits to remove.--Martin IIIa (talk) 21:42, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To Splendid Performance: I sincerely appreciate your effort to cut the plot summary down to size, but unfortunately I had to revert a lot (but certainly not all) of your changes, since some of the stuff you removed is necessary to make the plot coherent. For instance, while the details of Molly's kidnapping might seem unnecessary, by removing them all you left the plot summary with no explanation for how Hank became involved. If you still think we can remove more stuff while retaining a plot summary that makes sense, it would be best if you discuss it here first so that we don't keep reverting each other. (This is purely a suggestion, mind you; I'm certainly not saying you can't follow

Why is this in the first paragraph: "This movie had the highest budget in the studios' history, but the film bombed at the box office, and critics deemed it as "pathetic." It belongs to a long list of WWE Studio films that have been responsible for the company losing hundreds of millions of dollars." No reference is given. The statements are contradicted by the supported information within the article itself. Specifically, Box Office Total $27,184,083 vs 22,000,000 Budget, so it cannot possibly be a Box Office Bomb, and later on in the articles references are given for a planned sequel (which belies losses of "hundreds of millions of dollars").
