Old talk

Right now, we have two pages for every century: the overview (16th century) and the Year in Review (Year in Review 16th Century). This has the effect that these pages have to crosslink in an awkward manner, and that every year page (1642) has to link to two different pages for the same century.

I propose that we merge the two pages for every century by simply adding the table of decades and years to the overview page, like I did here for the 15th century. Eventually, we could completely get rid of the Year in Review pages (the title is not very descriptive and trademarked). This would simplify

Centuries
as well as all individual year pages.

I think that's a great idea. --LC, Saturday, June 29, 2002
