Talk:2007 All Golds Tour

I have made a number of changes to the original page. Here is a list and some explanation:

1. I have moved the page to All Golds Tour. This is how I have seen it refered to in the press, and seems to be a more intuitive title for the page.

2. I have moved a lot of the information that was mirroired directly from the NZ team page. This seemed like needless redundancy. Instead I have summarised the relavent details.

3. I have removed factual inaccuracies. ie, the May 2006 match in Auckland will not be a part of the All Golds tour in 2007.

4. I have put some more information there about Andrew Johns as there exist strong doubts that he will be able to take part in this tour.

Coach

I'm confused about who the coach was. Wayne Bennett or Gary Kemble. It says Bennett, but that Kemble was fired in the aftermath of the tour? Needs to be clearer.--

Nigel Vagana

Why is Nigel Vagana mentioned in 2007_All_Golds_Tour#All_Golds_v_Northern_Union_Team but not included in the 2007_All_Golds_Tour#Squad table?--Gibson Flying V (talk) 00:07, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The table lists the players that toured with the Kiwis and played in the games for New Zealand. Vagana, along with Jones, Wiki and Price only played for the All Golds. He is mentioned in the "All Blacks and former Kiwi Test players" section but I'm sure you could reword it to make it clearer if you would like to. Mattlore (talk) 02:25, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

All Golds

From my reading of this article, the name "All Golds" refers to the retired NZ team not the touring one who played the majority of matches. If this is the case then the name surely needs changing. Please correct me if this is a wrong analysis. Mn1548 (talk) 11:56, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mn
What exactly do you mean by the "retired NZ team"? Much thanks. Gladiator-Citizen (talk) 21:56, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
