When I sort the table, any country that had two flagbearers gets split into two rows. So instead of 1. Greece 2. Turkey 3. Malta and so on it becomes 1. Greece 1. Greece 2. Turkey 2. Turkey 3. Malta and so on. The only way to restore previous layout of the table is to refresh the page. Is this a Mediawiki thing? 185.128.95.135 (talk) 15:54, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Entry No. 46 in the table states: "ROC is sorted under a Chinese transcription of its English abbreviation, 罗克 (Luōkè). No Chinese name was displayed on the placard."

On the placard was displayed ROC in large letters, and on the stadium screen, where names of delegations were displayed in French, English and Chinese, ROC was displayed three times. In Chinese Latin abbreviations usually aren't transformed into hieroglyphs, see the list of such abbreviations in Xiandai Hanyu Cidian. Here the transformation was done merely to determine the order of delegations.
