Overlap with Persian Gulf floods

This event seems to be overlapping with the 2024 Persian Gulf floods which is currently listed as an In the News item. Is there a different scope? More focused or different death counts, etc? To justify this being a separate article? Reconrabbit 13:31, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest merging this article back into 2024 Persian Gulf floods, since more than half of this article is identical to that one. Zjin1 (talk) 08:54, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

I propose merging 2024 United Arab Emirates floods into 2024 Persian Gulf floods, citing concerns raised in previous section.Borgenland (talk) 18:35, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
