The basic Pudovik reaction involves RCHO/RCH=NR' + HP(O)(OR)₂ to RCH(OH/NHR)P(O)(OR)₂. The present article includes reactions starting with P(OR)₃ (Abramov reaction?), often with siloxy substituents.
