From the text I cannot understand what an agraffe is. I suggest two pictures to be added to the article: Complete piano with location of agraffe and detailed view. 1) agrafe a hook and loop, used to fasten armor or clothing.

2) metal bracket used in building to hold stones.

3) (allegedly) for champagne corks
