I added the word reports (?); one word belongs there, I used the all encompassing word "reports". Michael McAnnis,YumaAriz.Mmcannis 02:51, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Move

This page was recently moved to Autobiography of Ahmose, son of Ebana, on the grounds that the figure isn't notable apart from this text. Simply because a figure is only known through a single primary source doesn't mean he lacks the notability to qualify for his own page. We know several pharaohs through the Turin Canon only - we don't redirect their pages to the Turin Canon. Moreover, this is the name he would be found under in an Egyptologial encyclopedia. Pharoahs are rulers and therefore notable.
Ahmose is not, alone, notable (if you disagree, please explain). The focus on his tomb is because of the information his autobiography has provided to historians.
