As for Castellani's year of birth there are sources which give 1874 and others with 1877. Survey here.

See sources at lepromin for some additional importance about this guy. His vaccine idea didn't work but he was technically the first to prepare a lepromin like serum in 1906. — LlywelynII 04:32, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
