Instead of putting the intro under a separate heading, you should have it as the first bit of text in the article. That way, it shows up before the "contents" sidebar.

  • the second sentence of the intro would probably work better in the "early life and family" section, or maybe under a separate "career" section
  • maybe talk about Brewster's major contribution to the Golden Age, to make your intro more seamless. what were her comics known for? did she win any notable awards?

The content in the "early life and family section" so far is good, I would just work on making the language more succinct.

We talked about this in class, but you could add a "critical reception" section (maybe following "notable works") to discuss some responses to her work.

  • you should probably be careful to only include information from other notable comics artists
  • this would also be a good place to link to other Wikipedia articles (if you do choose to write about Trina Robbins' reviews)

Hi Ruvi, thanks for reviewing what I have for Ann Brewster's page so far. I have added the "Critical Reception" section as you suggested, as well as adjusted the intro. Thanks for the help! Aprad17 (talk) 16:08, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alyssa's Peer Review

Alyssa, I definitely agree with the points Ruvi made to your article, which you have already input, so that's great! I believe the main challenge is going to be trying to fit in all of her Critical Reception into information that is not bias, but explained in your own words, the great thing about this is that you can always cite them as a reference just so you can get the most out of your work. I enjoyed how you broke it down into more sections, I feel like it's going to bring the article more together and provide a more "concrete" feeling. Make sure to add pictures and as much personal and career information as possible. Maybe also make a separate section for her "Graphic novels" or "Awards that she has won" as Ruvi suggested as well.
