A search of Google books shows 1,800 books which include a mention of an Army of the North. Including:

These seem to be the three major usages of the name (a total of 1713) but there are several other armies known as the "Army of the North" in several other wars, which are mentioned in the search.

The article Army of the North should either be the article about the French army with a hat note to a dab page (main usage), or it should be a dab page.

So what is the best dab extension to give this current article? --
