Surname

Arnór Guðjohnsen has a surname, not a patronym. The most obvious evidence of this is the fact that his son Eiður Guðjohnsen has inherited it, that would not have been legal under Icelandic naming laws if it was a patronym. The other sign of this is that his surname ends with -sen, which is native to Danish and Norwegian, Icelandic patro and matronyms end with -son. 81.231.145.51 (talk) 03:05, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Therefore |listas=Gudjohnsen, Arnor using the surname.
