A fact from Atlantic Wind Connection appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 October 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that the Mid-Atlantic households with power from wind farms to be built 20 miles (32 km) offshore? A record of the entry may be seen at Wikipedia:Recent additions/2010/October.

While a blog (particularly not as biased as this) is useless for Wikipedia, it does contain references to credible data associated with this project, such as Kempton's http://www.pnas.org/content/early/2010/03/29/0909075107.abstract
