Proposed change to lead

I propose changing the lead from "

Eleanor Simmonds". This is a sports award, so the first thing I want to know is what sport she competes in, not what her disability is. The lead tells me that she has a disability from the fact that she competed in the paralympics, and I can go to her article if I want to know more about it. --Jameboy (talk) 00:26, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply

Diff I agree the information on being a swimmer should be there and have added it, whilst also keeping the previous information. I hope this is satisfactory. Many thanks Rambo's Revenge (talk) 13:15, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sky Brown listed as Japanese?

MOS:SPORTFLAG: Flags should never indicate the player's nationality in a non-sporting sense; flags should only indicate the sportsperson's national squad/team or representative nationality. Brown, and most of the people on this list, represent Great Britain/UK at their sports events, so that flag should be used rather than English or Japanese flags.
