Five or Six

States there are 5 lakes and then names six.?? Eregli bob (talk) 11:53, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name

I see the name elsewhere as "Band-i-Amir". Is this preferable? --Annielogue (talk) 21:01, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Habiba Sarabi

In 2008 Time Magazine included Habiba Sarabiin its list of "Heroes of the Environment", partly for her work in establishing the Band-e Amir National Park in Bamiyan. I guess this page should reflect that? --Annielogue (talk) 21:05, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tourism?

The article states that the Band-e Amir area is visited by thousands of tourists from all over the world each year. Are there any sources for this? The area is without a doubt beautiful and worth a visit, but given the political situation in Afghanistan I find it very hard to believe that any significant number of international tourists actually visit this place these days.
