Thrown flag penalty

Please do not persist in adding information about last night's penalty into the article. We don't list every penalty a player receives into their article, and two weeks from this will be mostly forgotten outside of Baltimore. StaticElectric (talk) 01:12, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've re-added the information and expanded it. First of all, it's a very rare occurrence - when was the last time you saw a player do what Scott did? Additionally, the behavior was connected to Samari Rolle's accusations of disrespectful language on the part of the official, which is a major news story today.►Chris NelsonHolla! 01:33, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated addition of questionable contest by an IP

[1] I doubt the entire paragraph deserves mention, but especially not "despite Scott's boasting..." That's not even relevant! What was (perhaps) notable was the clip. Enigmamsg 20:53, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is an IP who adds material that paints Scott in a negative light. It's a long-term problem. In my opinion as an admin, and as I've said, it is a BLP issue, but it is a borderline one that makes me reluctant to use the hammer.--Wehwalt (talk) 16:04, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If the IP is not going to even discuss it, I'm just going to block it. If you're going to add such content, you better be prepared to justify it. Enigmamsg 18:49, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Three more IPs have cropped up to make the identical edit [2]. That's at least 9 times it has had to be removed by various accounts. Does anyone want to justify this edit or should we just ask for semi-protection on the article? Meters (talk) 18:49, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I would say put in a request at WP:RFPP and let an uninvolved admin decide.--Wehwalt (talk) 20:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Meters (talk) 21:19, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, missed this. I would've protected myself. Enigmamsg 21:02, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
