Yes, Mitre is a divisive figure in modern Argentine politics, with detractors (a few of whom are plain loopy) who provoke irritated defenders; this article seems to have been written by the latter. This article needs to be thoroughly rewritten with good sources. I mean to do it one day, but there is no recent good biography of Mitre, who was certainly a remarkable character.Ttocserp 13:22, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
