It's been suggested by various commentators since the 1960s, that Bat lash was "based" on the lead character in Waterhole #3

His full name is Bartholomew Aloysius Lash. Also, I believe his name was inspired by Bat Masterson and Lash Larue. —The preceding

Superhero?

Is it accurate to refer to Bat Lash as a superhero? Although he was later revived in a superhero setting, his primary creation was as a western character. It would be like describing Ben Cartwright of Bonanza as a superhero. 23skidoo (talk) 15:44, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
