Necessity and Objectivity?

Is the Sports Teams section necessary? I would think there are other aspects of the town that merit examination before high school sports. That aside, the author should consider their bias when writing about a subject obviously dear to them. The author uses terms like "amazing" (which also describes a 10-year-old event as if it were recent) and attemps feel-good descriptions of teams, supporters, and events. (While I commend the young author on their task, let's not forget the burden of objectivity and high scholarly research and writing that Wikipedia must not be immune to).

How about general info on the high school and other schools, local industry and business, parks and recreation, etc?

Population

There are more families and households than there are people in Batesville? Somehow I don't think that's right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.184.30.123 (talk) 02:47, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
