A fact from Bats of Canada appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 3 April 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that for all species of bats native to Canada, there have been five total recorded cases of bat to human rabies transmission since 1925? Could someone with experience making maps provide distribution maps for each species of bat listed in the article, and perhaps for confirmed cases of

• Little Brown Bat at Canadian Biodiversity
• The National Bat Museum (scroll for maps)
• Big brown bat at National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior
• Bats at Hinterland Who's Who
• Antrozous pallidus distribution map at IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (see species info too)
