I agree. There is no justification for this page which is a sort of promotional page for a small company. If this sort of thing is allowed then there will be a page for every startup in the land. Ivan007 —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 18:49, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This looks like an advertisement to me- which is the reason I have tagged it as such. There seems to be very little detail about the company and nothing to counterbalance the positive nature of this article which strikes me as being biased. Rather than flag it as POV and of disputed neutrality I felt that, as it refers to commercial services, it should be tagged as an advertisement. IrishPete 23:32, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a company that's looking at making £28 million in revenue in 2008. I've been researching into the price comparison market and I it's clear that beatthatquote should have a page. All the emails they seem to send out it would be surely useful for those that want to know more about the company (eg are they legit?). I don't see that this page is particularly biased at the moment - it just gives information after all? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.42.223 (talk) 20:47, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like advertising to me, I won't edit the article directly, I am conflicted by my employment by energyhelpline.com, but I don't think that BTQ are noteable over and above the many and increasing number of price comparison sites. I first became involved in the industry back in 2001 when I wrote the first uSwitch.com website, and have been at energyhelpline.com for over 3 years now... I say this just to show that I too know a fair amount comparison sites (although there is a huge gap between what I know, and what is knowable about price comparison sites) Jasonfward (talk) 19:42, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, it would appear that this article has been largely written by BTQ themselves http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/62.121.23.232 (gateway1.beatthatquote.com) something I thought was a complete no no Jasonfward (talk) 19:54, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, as a consumer who came across references to this company on a website i use (credit expert credit report) it's reassuring to learn something about these people... there appears to be a page for other similar sites so to me it makes sense (though little more than what is currently there is needed in my opinion) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.5.33.116 (talk) 10:37, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
