Bersi Skáld-Torfuson is how it is written in Icelandic. The version Skáldtorfuson is a bad one, and probably a invention of somebody that didn´t know what the name means. His father was called Skáld-Torfi. [1] --157.157.37.67 08:26, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think Bersi was captured at Nesjar. He probably followed Earl Sveinn in exile, and returned to Norway after the Earl had died. See Finnur Jónsson Den oldnorske og oldislandske litteraturs historie, I, 1920, p 564f. Srv.rosen (talk) 22:39, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
