Name change

Bhat is a very common surname among Brahmins. Since this article is about a specific Bhat family who were de facto rulers over a huge territory in 18th century India, I propose the name should be changed to reflect their place in history. The title could be: 1.Bhat family Peshwas or 2.Peshwas of Maratha empire from the Bhat family or 3.Peshwa Balaji Vishwanath and his descendents Please suggest other titles if appropriate. Sitush,many Bhat family members played important parts in 18th century Maratha history,however, not all of them held the Peshwa position.That's the reason this article should not be merged.Jonathansammy (talk) 16:02, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Current members

Some other Indian ruler pages use this as a source of information about the ruler and his succession. The same source website also lists the Nawabs of Banda here. @>>> Extorc.talk();, As long as you have reliable sources, I don't think there should be any problem. Although not by name, Bajirao and Mastani's descendants are mentioned under "Present generation". I wouldn't recommend adding a whole tree for descendants of Ali Bahadur II.In my opinion, no descendants of Indian Royal houses after 1947 should b e included in any trees on Wikipedia.If you do see any then let me know.Thanks.Jonathansammy (talk) 21:39, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
