I see nothing in any of the subject's sources...

...which list names of the children. Is this on a book jacket somewhere I'm missing? Does he mention the kids in his blog? Since I have no reason to believe the children are notable, and every reason to believe they're living private citizens themselves, I'm deleting their names from the page. Because I can't source the children's names myself, I'm placing a COI tag on the pagespace. It's unlikely many would know these names except someone who knows the family, and that's sufficient conflict of interest and insufficient sourcing for inclusion. If I'm in error, at least I'm doing so intending to protect the privacy of the subject's children. I can live with a mistake like that. BusterD (talk) 20:24, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Don't remove the COI tag

Clearly somebody understands that if you are friends or family with the subject of this page, you shouldn't be editing it, right? That's what the COI template applied at the top of the page tells everyone: "Keep an eye peeled. Somebody who knows the family well enough to list the children's middle names created the page." That's a conflict of interest. It's one thing to make a mistake in judgement, it's another thing to perpetuate the offense. Don't be troll-like. Try editing another page NOT about your family, OK? Maybe he's unaware that there are WP articles that have nothing to do with that particular family, LOL. Should we have him click on "Random article"? Qworty (talk) 02:27, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The children's names are on the inside of the Heisman book cover and also in a Who's Who in America article from the late 1990s. I have no objection to removing them from the page, however I do believe that since the information is publicly available there is no need for a COI tag citing a conflict of interest. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.223.207.126 (talk) 18:25, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
