The source is generally compliant. I understand given how reporting works it doesn't literally say within it that he "nearly died", but given the severity of the situation the subject experienced according to the source I'm happy to use that wording.
- I have a bit of concern over the use of the "only NBA player" moniker however. Given the source is from 2014 this is before his NBA career, and recognises him as by all guesses the nation's only college basketball player with sickle cell disease. Either the wording needs some tweaking or a second source is required that lists him as the NBA's only player with sickle cell disease.
All images provided meet the licensing and size requirements and are used within the article.
