Range map

Can someone update the range map? I don’t know how to do it but ir should include most of the US gulf coast and from central through southern Florida coast (inland Tampa Bay estuaries). —-

According to this list of Waco birds, this duck is "common" in Waco, TX, in the summer (and I saw two in a tree yesterday), and Waco is central Texas, quite far from the range shown on the map. I realize that birds can show up outside of their range, but if they are "common" outside the range, then there is something wrong with the range map. Pruss (talk) 13:33, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pruss, I removed the range map altogether, as when I'm looking at sources find that it has expanded its range and is established as a year-round resident in many northern U.S. states and a regular vagrant in some of Canada's eastern provinces. That makes the map look absolutely ridiculous! — Jacona (talk) 14:15, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
