"Selected cases" is too long

I've marked the "Selected cases" section with {{example farm}}, as rather than being a few cogent examples of trends, it's more a "this happened, then this happened, then this happened." No denying, they are interesting stories, but links to article about them could be added to "Further reading" to cover that. The section would be smoother with a few key examples illustrating the problem. I submit that the examples involving the law being used as a weapon in personal grudges would be particularly interesting. MatthewVanitas (talk) 21:55, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe they could be separated into subheadings to make it more clear and remove the less notable ones?Peaceworld111 (talk) 22:01, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment That is not a "merge" you're proposing in technical sense. You may
freely copy paste within wikipedia as long as it is not a violation of other policies. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 07:53, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply

There is no need to merge, as this a well developed article on an important topic. The general article can be developed further, but no need to merge. --Natkeeran (talk) 21:39, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Agree with Natkeeran. this a well developed article on an important topic. Over 1000 accused. Dozens of people murdered. Two officials assassinated. --

Oppose. The law is itself notable enough in Pakistan to have a separate article of its own. A long list and history of murders. Faizan (talk) 23:30, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. subject is very notable and if we merge with the other article then we might not be able to accommodate very important details.Nicky mathew (talk) 05:12, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New separate article for selected cases?

The cases are all clearly relevant and well-sourced, but there might be too many (per
