Why change year from 1870 to 1875 when source still says 1870?

The most recent change was changing the year of the first Boston Terrier sold from 1870 to 1875. However the source for that change still says 1870. So where is the source for 1875? https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/boston-terrier/#standard — Preceding unsigned comment added by Profpedia (talkcontribs) 23:41, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

History section: Images

The history section don't show any historical image of the breed. I will suggest some images to add: Adventurous36 (talk) 19:39, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the second image to the article. Traumnovelle (talk) 06:04, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictory information.

In the second paragraph of the history section the weight for Judge and Gyp is given as 32lbs and 20lbs respectively, later on we are told the original Boston Terriers weighed up to 44lbs.

Whilst it is possible it's unlikely for dogs descended from a 32lb dog and 20lb bitch to end up producing 44lb dogs in just a few generations given breeders seemed to prefer the smaller size. Traumnovelle (talk) 06:07, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
