Talk page missing?

The talk page that I think was here has disappeared. The former contents of this page are now at

B-baria City, Bangladesh begins with 16 October 2014, although that might be correct, since there haven't been many pages about Bangladesh cities rather than districts or upazilas, but I wonder. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 19:01, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply

@Sminthopsis84: I've history-merged both the article and talk page. Next time this happens, don't do a cut-and-paste move; instead use {{Db-move}} to ask an admin to move the page properly. Graham87 04:02, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Current contents of page make no sense

Please see below the double line for continuation of comments. This is how the page looks as I am writing this:

Brahmanbaria may also refer to:
==Places==
  • In India
==Sports==
  • Brahmanbaria Stadium
==Others==
  • Brahmanbaria tornado 2013
=======================================

There are several problems with this (1) the city called Brahmanbaria is not linked or mentioned (2) the Titas river is not a possible meaning of "Brahmanbaria", (3) the India section is empty and has no possible content that I can think of or find (4) there is no Brahmanbaria in Natore district (5) the last two sections Sports and Others would be better placed under a single heading "See also" (and there are other problems with formatting).

We need to somehow restore to an earlier version of the Brahmanbaria page, which was about the city, and can now be found, more-or-less intact, at

B-baria City, Bangladesh. B-baria City, B.baria City, and B'baria City are various abbreviations that should redirect to Brahmanbaria and should not be used in page names in this dignified encyclopedia that we are building here. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 18:56, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply

According to WP:BDPLACE, which is currently being considered for adopting and reflects general norm of naming articles, recommends that: (1) Brahmanbaria] should be about the town (settlement/locality) and (2) Brahmanbaria District shall be about the administrative unit (territory). Also, the name should be official full name, i.e. Brahmanbaria and not B-Baria etc. In last couple of days, there had been a lot of moves and the history is a mess. At this point, when I am writing this, both articles are in rightful place. PLEASE discuss before doing any move and STATE YOUR RATIONALE before doing any moves. – nafSadh did say 19:24, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
now we have a 3RR situation. I am refraining from any edit for 3 days. I would be here on this talk, if it survives that attack. – nafSadh did say 21:54, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
