1995 Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC)

Probably someone should add a mention for the 1995 molecule of the year. The Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC). Apparently this was a transition year between a tradition of awarding it for actual molecules and the new Breakthrough of the Year designation.

The front matter includes the phrase, "The choice of the BEC broadens the scope of the selection process: The BEC is not a molecule"
