Chronology seems off

Quoth the article:

Having served in the Royal Corps of Artillery during the Second World War he entered the Parliament of Northern Ireland in 1938 when he won the Lisburn centered seat of Iveagh.

This seems impossible, seeing that WWII didn't start until 1939! And since he'd only have been 17 when WWI ended, that probably isn't right either. What is going on here exactly? --Jfruh (talk) 06:34, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
